Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Royal Oak is frequently praised for its spacious rooms, some even featuring separate living areas, mini-fridges, and tea/coffee facilities, providing ample space for families. Its location is convenient, with the beach approximately an 18-minute walk away and local shops nearby. Guests appreciate the free parking; some have mentioned that the pub's bar garden is attached, so it could suit couples more than families with kids. While the hotel doesn't offer its own food service, being able to bring in food and use provided crockery is a plus, with Bennetts fish and chips and a bakery conveniently located next door.
